Activities for Numeracy Week Day 2
A great start to this year's Numeracy Week in Meadow Hall and it promises to get even more interesting. As part of the activities lined up for Day 2 of the week, we have the following:
- Our 'Maths Ambassadors' will be on ground at the lobby between 7 am and 8 am to reward our 'Maths Geniuses'. What do you have to do to win...? Just answer any of the available questions from the magic basket correctly and you qualify. So...get your thinking caps on
- We have a very interesting Debate between our Year 6's and Year 7's at the Assembly Hall from 8 am - 8:30 am. The topic of debate...? ALL SQUARES ARE RECTANGLES. Our Year 7's will be supporting the motion while our Year 6's will be opposing. Promises to be very enlightening as both parties have been seriously preparing.
- We would also be having experienced professionals from diverse fields come to talk to us about 'The Importance of Numeracy to every day life' and how Numeracy helps their profession.
- At lunch time, we would be have a number of games at the lobby, which includes: Ayo, Chess, Ludo, etc. We would also be having the different houses battle it out in the Marshmallow challenge.
- Our 'Question of the Day' is still on. We are yet to record a winner. Mouth watering prices to be won. Give it your best shot!
Looking forward to an interesting time. THINK MATHS AND STAY ALIVE!!!
